This casserole is made of cast iron with a matt black enamel coating. The heavy casserole is 3.5 mm thick and the bottom is 4.2 mm thick. The casserole is suitable for cooking stews, braising steak, vegan vegetable casseroles or other slow-cooked food. The heat is distributed evenly from the base to the lid. The casserole is suitable for all heat sources, including gas, electric, ceramic and induction. And because it has a stainless steel knob, it can also be used in the oven up to a temperature of a maximum of 200°C. Tips: Before using for the first time, wash the casserole and lightly coat the inside with salad oil. Never heat the casserole while empty. Do not use sharp or metal utensils, as these may damage the non-stick coating. Do not expose the casserole to cold water immediately after use, allow to cool down first. Preferably wash the inside and the outside of the casserole with a soft dish brush and washing-up liquid. Never use steel wool or abrasives. If the casserole is very dirty or has food burned onto it, leave to soak in lukewarm water before cleaning in the usual way.
